Please note that the colours of the final print may differ slightly from the colours you are seeing on your screen. Each monitor displays colour slightly differently and we can not guarantee that what you are seeing is a true representation of the final product.
Orders are shipped at the end of each store drop (usually within two weeks) from Sydney Metro. Prints shipped within Australia are automatically sent with tracking as per Australia Post, however orders send to NZ do not come with tracking and have a wait time guideline of up to 6 weeks (these times are pre covid-19 so please allow for extra delays). Given the current climate of the world, wait times can be longer but please wait at least 6 weeks if you have not selected tracking to contact us. Replacements are not always an option but we do our best to accomodate.
If you would like to order outside of AUS/NZ please contact us directly and we can get you an individual quote on postage.
During covid our print run time has been extremely delayed. Between this and the increase of restrictions on leaving the house orders are currently being processed on a much slower timeline than I (or you) would like. Please rest assured the second I can get to the post office or to pick up your prints I will absolutely do so however patience and kindness is requested at the moment as we are all struggling in our current world. If you have any issues or concerns around your delivery or meeting a deadline you need your prints for just flick me an email and I'll get into it as soon as possible.
CHANGE OF MIND
Each print is thoughtfully printed, packaged and dispatched – just for you. Please be mindful when choosing your prints as due to the fragile nature of the works and print to order basis, we do not accept returns for ‘change of mind’. This also applies to tickets sales as even if you don't show up I have still got everything ready and waiting for you.
If for some reason you have been sent the wrong print please contact us with photo evidence and we will happily sort this out for you.
All prints are packed with loads of care and love and are delivered to the local post office in excellent condition. Unfortunately from this point we have no control over what happens to your prints. While we have all faith in Australia Post (ha!), there are times when packages can arrive a little worse for wear. While we do apologise that you have taken the time to order a print, and it has not arrived in the state we sent it in, no refunds or replacements will be offered in the off chance this does occur. This is on a case by case basis and if you feel otherwise please contact us to discuss.

REFUNDS & COPYRIGHT
Portraits or any kind of commission work is on a strict no refund policy. These pieces are made with love especially for you and your mob/whanau so once the work is done it can not and will not be resold on to third parties (unless sold on a non exclusive contract which we would discuss at length first and does not apply to every day portrait commissions). This includes everything from stickers to illustrations and portraiture. Believe it or not people contact me often to buy portraits or silhouettes of other peoples kids but that's weird so no.
All artworks remain the intellectual, cultural and creative property of Melle Smith-Haimona Artist under Australian Law and while I'm happy for you to print off some extra copies of your portraits for your family to enjoy it is under no circumstance to be distributed for corporate or commercial use unless otherwise agreed to by the artist.
