Prison, the first in the continuing series, is loosely based on the Yidniji dreaming of Oolana at Babinda Boulders. This version imagines that Oolana, after centuries of searching the waters for her lost love, is found and imprisoned in a modern-day aquarium. A story that corresponds directly to the history of our culture being taken from us and displayed with out permission in museums across the world.
Since the 1950s' 18 men and 1 woman have drowned in the creek known locally as the washing machine. The Yidinji People believe Oolana's spirit calls men and claims their lives.
