Ngunawal Country 2020
Artwork based on photos I took on my last trip back to my homeland, Ngunnawal country.
It was right in the middle of the worst fire season the east coast of Australia has ever seen. Nothing was green anymore but I could see where it used to be. The cracks and crevices in the land where the water used to flow. It was the first trip my sisters and I had taken together back to our ancestral homelands and we shared the strong pull of our connections as is depicted in this piece.
